Proper installation and regular maintenance are essential to your carpet's performance. Choose from several installation methods and always hire a professional:

• The stretch method provides more underfoot comfort and higher noise reduction, particularly when padding is used. This method also makes it easier to match patterned carpeting.
• The glue-down method is usually less expensive and holds up well to heavy traffic.

Before the installers arrive, vacuum your existing carpet to minimize the release of dust and dirt. After the old carpet and padding have been removed, vacuum the sub-floor. Vacuum the area again, immediately after your carpet has been installed, to remove loose fibres.
